West End Railway demonstrates an electric streetcar.

The car, which utilizes a motor designed by Frank Sprague in Richmond, Virginia, runs from Cambridgeport to Harvard Square in Cambridge, then to Charles Street, Beacon Street and Huntington Avenue in Boston, before returning. It carries transit company and city officials, newspaper reporters, and representatives from other cities.
